Malvern World Travel launches ‘Ask Us’ campaign to tackle Covid-19 fears and rebuild customer confidence

 

Malvern World Travel based at 44 Somers Park Avenue, Malvern, WR14 1SD  has introduced a new marketing campaign and Video, aimed at tackling customer concerns about travel head-on. The campaign was created by The Travel Network Group, of which Malvern World Travel  is a member under the Worldchoice Plus Consortium of Travel Agents, in response to customer research which found concerns about safety and wellness overseas, combined with confusion over refunds and guarantees is deterring people from booking holidays.

The ‘Ask Us’ campaign encourages customers to speak directlty to travel experts at Malvern World Travel directly about their worries and concerns so they are able to plan safe travel more easily. The campaign can be edited to give up-to-date information about the ever-changing travel corridors, in the hope that this will help people plan holidays more confidently.

 The campaign was inspired by a survey of over a thousand people which showed despite just over half (53%) saying they were hoping to book an overseas holiday in the next 3-12 months, confusion over quarantines and refund policies are deterring customers from booking. Over half the people surveyed said they thought the government guidance on overseas travel hasn’t been clear and 30% said they were worried about not being able to access refunds on flights or accommodation.

According to the research, consumers need reassurance about how safe they are when they are on holiday with more than 4 in 10 people (45%) saying they were concerned about falling ill on holiday with a further 41% saying they have concerns about the safety of travel by plane or ship. 40% said they were worried about the COVID rates in other countries.

This campaign encourages them to ask us questions to find out more, whether that be online or face-to-face at our Home based Travel Agency in Malvern.

“Research has shown that there is an appetite for travel, but people are understandably concerned about their health and safety. Our staff have the expertise and knowledge to help our customers understand the ever-changing travel regulations as well as measures that are in place at airlines, resorts, Cruise lines  and tour operators to help keep them safe.

The campaign will feature aspirational imagery from iconic tourist destinations and encourage customers to ‘Ask Us’ about key areas of concern such as ‘Where is safe to travel?’ , ‘What are the latest travel regulations?’ or ‘How is it like in resort

                                    

 

The campaign will launch at Malvern World Travel  from the 04th January 2021 and will feature regularly on our Malvern World Travel facebook page, Twitter feeds and Instagram pages
