EMBARKATION FROM MID-DAY IN SOUTHAMPTON

Destination Dance as The Headliners explode onto the Stage at 8.30p.m and 10.30p.m in The Curzon Theatre on Deck 7, Forward.

The Last day at sea before the First Port of Call and it’s time to Get active from 7.30 am it’s time to Stretch and Relax ,Walk a Mile, Social Tennis or join in with the Pathway to Yoga class whilst listening to a Navigational update from The Bridge.
On the Sun Deck there is an Adult Deck Quoits competition or time for a Coffee and Chat and those that are travelling Solo can meet their fellow passengers for a morning chat and catch up Andersons (Deck7) Forward. There’s a watercolour Art Class with John Gifford and also an Eat more to Weigh Less class with Auroras Fitness Instructors UGANDA ROOM (Deck13) Forward.
The more energetic can enjoy a Table Tennis Competition at 11.30am, Crystal Dome (Deck13) Midship or some Adult Interactive Bowling at Game On (Deck8) Aft

Day 5. 02nd September 2016
Arrival into Madeira is at 8.00a.m with an overnight stay in port. For those wishing to stay on board there are plenty of Activities and Competitions throughout the day and Evening. For those going ashore there are a mixture of pre-booked excursions to experience or take the Shuttle Bus service from Aurora to THE AVENIDA DO MAR, outside the Marina Mall. Transfer time is 15 minutes each way and costs £4 for an adult ticket each way, but Free for P&O Cruises Select Fare Passengers. This Service starts shortly after arrival and after customs clearance Into the Port with the last Shuttle at 11.30 p.m.
The Shore Excursions are meeting in the Coach parking area through the terminal building, and all have scheduled times to avoid congestion.
Tukxi Madeira is a company that organises customized tours. There is nothing better than visiting the city of Funchal and surroundings on a Tuk Tuk [rickshaw]; which is a fun and entertaining experience.

There is a Wine Talk with resident host Albert who will take you on a deliciously informative journey through the Wonderful selection of Wines from the Glass House cellars. Welcome to Lisbon at 9.00am and it’s worth being on deck as Aurora arrives. All aboard before 6.30p.m
Lisbon descends from many Hills to the great river Tagus to which, for centuries, she has owed her wealth and fascination. Civilisations down the ages have left their mark in the old fisherman’s quarter, the castle, gothic churches and greenhouses.
A Shuttle bus operates between Aurora and Restaradores Square at charge of £4 Adult single. The service is free for P&O Cruises select Passengers.

You can book a behind the scenes tour of Aurora and the prestigious tour culminates on the Bridge where you’ll meet the Captain. The Tour has a Fee and lasts for three hours, registration is at reception with limited spaces available.
John Martin is in THE CURZON THEATRE tonight. John holds the World record for non-stop joke telling (101 hours and 39 minutes).Ken Dodd has quoted that John is one of his favourite comedians.
Day 12. Friday 09th September
As we bid farewell to the final Port of call, it’s a Day at Sea and the last formal Dress Code of the Cruise. The Day starts with all of the usual activities Exercises, Line Dancing, Quizzes, Watercolour classes with john Gifford, Dace Classes and not to be missed an Audience with Captain Lesley Dunlop in the Curzon Theatre at 11.00am
Cocktail Pianist David Taylor will be playing Afternoon Tunes at THE CROW’S NEST ( Deck 13) Forward and For one day Only It’s SALE day, with up to 50% off a range of selected merchandise from 9.00am to 3.00pm UPPER SHOPPING ( Deck 7) Midship
